In celebration of the Lunar New Year – Year of the Horse 2026, the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), and the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Trade Union of Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City organized a traditional folk games festival themed “Glorious Party – Meaningful Tet – United Spring” on January 30, 2026.
Participating enthusiastically in games such as tug of war, three-legged race, and capture the flag, the trade union of the Research Institute for Biotechnology and Environment (RIBE) achieved encouraging results, including first prize in the three-legged race, third prize in tug of war, and third prize overall. These achievements marked a positive start to the union’s activities in 2026 and contributed to the celebration of RIBE’s 20th anniversary (June 6, 2006 – June 6, 2026).
On the same afternoon, the University Trade Union held the Emulation and Commendation Review Conference for the 2024–2025 academic year. At the conference, RIBE’s Trade Union received a collective commendation; seven members were recognized for outstanding performance, and two union officials were awarded the title “Outstanding Trade Union Cadres”.
